Ben Holland Sound offers a full solution for television sound. From live studio to post production, Ben has been been responsible for the sound on many of the biggest and most-loved shows on TV.

After grad­u­at­ing from the pres­ti­gious Ton­meis­ter degree course at the Uni­ver­sity of Sur­rey, Ben started his career at West­deutsche Rund­funk in Köln (Ger­many) work­ing in sound design and music production. He joined the sound depart­ment at The Lon­don Stu­dios (TLS) in 2000 and quickly became well known for a high stan­dard of work, which short-listed him ‘Best Young Audio Engi­neer’ in 2002’s B+ Tal­ent Awards. At TLS, Ben gained a huge breadth of expe­ri­ence work­ing on a diverse range of shows both in stu­dio and post such as ‘Blind Date’, ‘An Audi­ence with…’, ‘Alright on the night’, ‘Parkin­son’, ‘Gimme, Gimme, Gimme’, ‘Record of the year’, and ‘The Brit Awards’.

He has devel­oped a rep­u­ta­tion for qual­ity and atten­tion to detail due in part to his involve­ment in two of ITV’s most suc­cess­ful award win­ning shows, ‘Ant & Dec’s Sat­ur­day Night Take­away’ and ‘Loose Women’.

Ben left TLS in 2007 to embark on his free­lance career and until July 2011 car­ried on act­ing as head of sound for ‘Loose Women’ and ‘Lorraine’.
Hav­ing stud­ied music, and as a com­mit­ted musi­cian Ben has a nat­ural instinct for mix­ing music. He keeps his ears trained by play­ing gui­tar in sev­eral bands includ­ing a big band, a jazz quar­tet, and a fusion band.
